Mississippi Truck Accident on I-55

JACKSON, Miss. -- All lanes on Interstate 55 near Lakeland Drive in Jackson are back open after an 18-wheeler accident.

Officials said it happened just after 10 p.m. Monday.

Police said the truck, which was carrying bananas, was involved in an accident along with two other cars.

No one was injured.

It took Mississippi Department of Transportation officials about two hours to clear the scene.
