I-84 Truck Rollover Accident

CHESHIRE, Conn.—State police say a man has died after his pickup truck crashed on Interstate 84 in Cheshire. The wreck shut down an exit during the morning commute.

State police say the man's truck rolled over shortly after 5 a.m. Monday while traveling east and blocked the exit to Interstate 691.

The state Department of Transportation says the ramp to exit 27 was closed while crews worked to clear the crash from the roadway. The exit was reopened at about 8 a.m.

State police have not released the man's name.
