A Kansas man was killed in a two vehicle accident in Pawnee County Saturday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 5:30 p.m. on Pawnee County Road F.

Troopers said Brandon Hammeke, 27, of Belpre, was driving a pickup when he failed to yield at a stop sign. A semi truck hit Hammeke's truck on the passenger side. Hammeke was killed in the crash.

The semi driver, Christopher Herman of Garfield, was taken to a Larned hospital for treatment.
