PITTSBURGH - The Pennsylvania Turnpike is closed for 65 miles from the Carlisle to Breezewood exits after a tractor-trailer overturned.

State police say westbound traffic is being rerouted at the Carlisle exit and returned to the turnpike at Breezewood. They say a tractor-trailer overturned between the two exits at about 5 a.m. Tuesday.

State police say the traffic is being rerouted to Interstate 81 and then to Interstate 70. It is unclear how long the stretch of road will remain closed.
