Truck Accident in NY - Crash on Route 52
New York Truck Accident
TOWN OF NEWBURGH - Brian Kilpatrick, 28, of the Town of Newburgh died Sunday as the result of a car accident on Route 52.
Police say Kilpatrick was driving a PT Cruiser east on the road and failed to negotiate a curve, crossing the double line. His car hit a westbound Peterbuilt tanker truck. Kilpatrick was extricated from his car and later died at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital.
The truck driver, Scott Spagnoli, 50, of New Windsor suffered minor injuries.
