Truck and School Bus Accident in Ohio

Ohio – Two people were injured Wednesday when a truck hit two vehicles and then slammed into a chemical business and caught fire, according to Cincinnati police.

The truck driver lost control of his vehicle in the 3100 block of Spring Grove Avenue about 9:42 a.m. and went left of center, hitting another truck and side-swiping a bus for Cincinnati Public Schools, said Sgt. Danita Kilgore, police spokeswoman.

The truck then careened into Midwest Environmental Services, and the vehicle caught on fire. Cincinnati fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze, and no one was injured inside.

The driver of the truck was cited for causing the crash. His name was not released. He and the school bus driver were taken to University Hospital with minor injuries, Kilgore said. No students were on the bus at the time.
