Our client was severely injured when a Youngblood tractor trailer rear-ended her vehicle on Interstate 95 near the Virginia – North Carolina border. After striking her vehicle, the truck pushed her car several hundred feet before coming to rest. As the vehicle came to a stop, her car burst into flames. She managed to exit the vehicle just before it exploded. She suffered numerous severe injuries. The defense alleged contributory negligence. The parties conducted extensive factual discovery.
